To learn how to learn the languages and to develop autonomy ! Few people never have to self-study when studying a foreign language. Nowadays several external factors encourage this process : · First, media and multimedia increase possibilities to have access to foreign languages (radio, TV, Internet). · Then, self-study issue and question whether the subject is able to learn a foreign language are renewing constantly. That's why Les auto-apprentissages tackle this problem, with 3 main objectives : · Draw up a link between learning process and autonomy. · Prepare, within the class-group, strategies and attitudes that can be transfered by the learner to learn language during his whole life (alone, or in self-study centers ...) · Help the learner to take responsibility for his language learning, to be able to develop his communication skills through various possibilities (radio, TV, multimedia). · Propose a procedure to create a self-study center.
