Kition-Bamboula X

The volume publishes the results of the excavations led by the French mission in the Late Bronze Age and Early Iron Age settlement at Kition- Bamboula (Larnaka, Cyprus). For the first time on the site, excavations conducted between 2018 and 2021 revealed a succession of levels documenting a continuous occupation from the 13th century until the turn of the millennium. The thorough study of the architectural remains and of the associated artefacts gives an important synthesis on a period (the Bronze to Iron Age transition) and a context (settlement), which were until now poorly known in Cyprus and, more broadly, in the Eastern Mediterranean.
