“Les donateurs” illustrates the considerable complementary bond that exists between the public authorities and collectors, whose freedom and courage have been instrumental in amassing incredible treasures. With generosity and a keen vision, they work with the institution to accomplish an essential goal: promoting a better knowledge of the diversity of the world's culture to capture an overall, unified vision of humanity.
