Rangi

Rangi, un jeune garçon maori, grandit près du lac Rotorua en respectant la nature et les traditions. Sa grand-mère Kui lui enseigne les légendes et le rôle d’un kaitiaki, un gardien de la terre. Après sa mort, son esprit continue de veiller sur la nature. Rangi, a young māori boy, grows up near Lake Rotorua respecting nature and traditions. His grandmother Kui teaches him the legends and the role of the kaitiaki, guardian of the land. When he becomes an adult, he protects the forest, plants trees, and teaches his people. He becomes a respected leader and gives his mission to Maui, a young man he trains. After his death, his spirit continues to watch over nature.
