Nirvana

“Nirvana” is a poetry collection by the Cameroon-born poet Maureen Rosita, who currently divides her time between Senegal and Switzerland. Published in 2024, the book is the author’s second release, after the first (‘Run Forever, Run for Change’) in 2013. The poetry book’s title, Nirvana, is a reference to a place of perfect peace and happiness. “Nirvana” means an escape from the complexities and mundane aspects of everyday life. Instead, the book allows readers to step into a different realm, where they can experience a poetic journey that transcends the ordinary and transports them to a realm of heightened imagination, beauty, and inspiration.
