Synthesis and Evaluation of Multifunctional Lube Oil Additives

Today multifunctional additives play a major role in the technology of engine oils. Thus, research throughout the world is increasingly directed towards producing additives with more than one purpose, i.e. multifunctional additives.In the present work, some polymeric additives based on styrene- maleic anhydride copolymer and octadecene- maleic anhydride copolymer were prepared and evaluated as V.I, P.P and dispersant.
