The Scarecrow And The Sunflower

Chris is a scarecrow who lives in a cornfield. It’s summer, he’s hot and thirsty and nobody can help him. The bees, the ants and the lizards are very busy. Finally autumn comes and then winter. The scarecrow is cold and feels alone. He sleeps for a long time and when he wakes up there is a yellow flower near him. It’s a sunflower and can do magic things. Chris est un épouvantail qui vit dans un champ de blé. C’est l’été, il a chaud et il a soif, et personne ne peut l’aider. Les abeilles, les fourmis et les lézards sont tous fort occupés. Voici enfin venir l’automne, puis l’hiver. L’épouvantail a froid et se sent seul. Il dort longtemps et lorsqu’il se réveille, il voit une fleur jaune près de lui: c’est un tournesol capable de toutes les magies.
