The Nightingale

The Emperor of China invites the nightingale of the forest to stay at court. She sings beautifully and everyone loves her. Things change when a colourful artificial bird arrives in the palace. The nightingale is not anymore the favourite one and flies away. All of a sudden the Emperor is not well and realises that what he needs is that beautiful, real singing. Will the nightingale ever be back? L’empereur de Chine appelle à la cour un rossignol de la forêt. Il chante divinement et tous en tombent amoureux. Mais lorsqu’au palais arrive un oiseau automate coloré, plus rien ne va. Tombé en disgrâce, le rossignol s’en va. Pourtant, quand l’empereur tombe malade, il comprend que sa guérison dépend du doux chant du véritable rossignol. Le rossignol reviendra-t-il à la cour ?
