Wagner's Rienzi is based on the life of Cola di Rienzi, a 14th-century Italian populist figure who stirred an uprising against the nobility, the opera eventually ends in the culmination and destruction of the Capitol, with the titular character making a final stand. This edition contains the Vocal score with Piano accompaniment.
