Spirit of the Child could be described as a choral drama. Its inspiration was derived from the plight of children cught as innocent victims in civil was in the Sudan region of Africa. The final section reflects the distant beat and singing of the human spirit which directs us all, urging us to continue in spite of all difficulties. It is the Spirit of the Child in all of us that is never conquered, never enslaved and never dies.
