The Aeneid

"The Aeneid" is an epic poem written by the Roman poet Virgil. It tells the legendary story of Aeneas, a Trojan hero who flees the burning city of Troy and embarks on a journey to find a new homeland. Along the way, he faces numerous trials and challenges, including encounters with gods and mythical creatures. The poem explores themes of destiny, duty, love, and the founding of Rome.
