John and the little wonder

In 1951, impressed by the exploits of Puig-Aubert, a wonderful player from the French rugby league team, John, a young Australian supporter, cannot forget this legendary athlete when the French delegation departed Australia. He sets out in search of his hero. A friendship between two men from vastly different worlds will take on an extraordinary dimension, forever uniting France and Australia, against a backdrop of passion, courage, and fraternity.
